PADF and Banco Agrícola, the largest commercial bank in El Salvador, have been working together since 2004 in Programa Manos Unidas por El Salvador.  Banco Agrícola has agreed to grant matching funds to Salvadoran hometown associations in the United States to implement education and development projects at home.  Together, PADF and Banco Agrícola seek to help immigrants living abroad assist their communities of origin.

Additionally, Banco Agrícola has provided funds to augment the USAID grant for Programa ALCANCE, another transnational education program in El Salvador administered by PADF.
